Tonight we met with Janice, one of the Make a Wish volunteers (wish granter). She gave us yet another book to help us plan our Disney trip, money for food and our official itinerary. Jason and I are truly amazed at the generosity the Make a Wish foundation and it's wish granters offer each child and his or her family. I held back tears tonight has Janice described the VIP treatment Zachary will receive once we arrive to Give Kids the World Village and Disney World. Jason and I would like to volunteer for Make a Wish in the near future. Neither one of us realized how many children's lives are touched by Make a Wish. Janice said many of their volunteers either knew someone who was granted a wish or was part of a wish through their child. It's easy to see why many wish recipients want to volunteer later; everyone has been so nice and it would be so much fun to help children receive their wish come true.
About where we are going to be staying: Give Kids the World Village is where all the Make a Wish children and their families stay during their Disney trip. She gave us a brochure on the facility, and the amenities there are something else. There's a mini golf course, swimming pool, mini water park, movie theatre and even a fully stocked fishing pond. There's also a video arcade (no quarters required!). It will be a nice place to relax when the kids (or perhaps Jason and I) are too tired to roam about Disney.

Hi Meiers, wishing you all a Bon Voyage. Have a really good time with sponge bob and friends. Sounds like there will be plenty to do and see. The adults will be able to rest while Zach and Lexi come and play with Nanny and Papa. Love to All, Ma Meier
