Well, the kids are going to be sad when they wake up in the morning to find that "Buster" is no longer part of our family. His owners are on their way to pick him up as I type. Thanks to all who prayed the owners would call us. We found out Buster's real name is Pippin and that he's not a puppy. His owner said he is a cross between a daschund and terrier. So we were close when we thought a cross between a dauschund and a Chihuahua...
I was just starting to get a bit attached to Buster, so it's probably a good thing that his family is claiming him now.
