Please keep Jessie Hall in your prayers. We "met" her and her family through our online hemispherectomy support group. She is 6 years-old and had to have a Right Hemispherectomy (same surgery Zachary had) due to Rasmussen's Encephalitis. She is recovering at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and doing well, praise God! If you'd like to follow her story, you can read her blog at:

Her parents are amazing. With everything they have going on (tests, traveling back and forth from Texas to Maryland) they have been setting up a scholarship for kids who have undergone this surgery. The media coverage and support they have received has also been amazing and an inspiration to me. If you would like to help with their scholarship, you can find more info on their website.
We would also appreciate prayers for Jason's family in Iowa. They are experiencing flooding. Jason's parents' basement is flooded and this morning their street was under water also. Please pray for the rain to stop and the water to recede. Jason's brother, Jeff and his wife, Gwen are also experiencing some flooding in their basement. Please pray for them also and for protection for all. It seems to be worse than the '93 flood, thanks to the crazy snowy winter we had!
Thanks for your prayers. We are all doing well. Zachary and Lexi are enjoying summer school. Zachary will get a new left leg brace tomorrow, as he has outgrown the one he has now. Will post pictures soon.
Blessings!
Jason, Mary Lou, Zachary and Lexi
